The Future of Learning Mobility within the European Union
My experience attending a Citizens Panel on Learning Mobility in Brussels last weekend, allowed me to experience first-hand how inclusion and diversity are incorporated into the early stages of information gathering at a European Commission level.
As a Wellness Trainer and Holistic Life Coach, I am acutely aware how inclusion and diversity play such an important role in a person’s ability to feel a sense of belonging.
Mindfulness Against Alzheimer’s
One of the worst things about Alzheimer’s lies in the fact that a person can spend decades suffering from it. It’s one of those diseases that irreversibly diminish one’s lifestyle quality, without cure, solution or even prospects of things ever getting better. According to recent statistics, Alzheimer’s dementia affects about 10 percent of people older than 65, although to a different degree.
Planting Seeds at #GalwayFoodFestival
The theme for this year's Galway Food Festival is planting seeds; it's about planting seeds of education and awareness; seeds of economic growth and development and getting back to our roots. It's about the origin of our food.
2018 is a great year for all things food related with Galway having been awarded the prestigous European Region of Gastronomy Award. This award presents Galway with a European platform to not only showcase Galway and the wonderful food produce, but also provides an opportunity to welcome European food tourists to our region to sample our foods.
Irish Innovation Fashion Awards Review
I had the pleasure of being invited to the 9th annual Irish Innovation Fashion Awards 2018 in the Galmont Hotel & Spa, Galway. The awards are the only platform of its kind in Ireland, for young designers to showcase their work and get the recognition they truly deserve. It also gives the designers visibility to a panel of fashion design experts.

Positive Living Network Galway 1st Birthday Party
We are told that we are the sum of the 5 people we surround ourselves with.
The reason why Jenny Grainger started the Positive Living Network is a story a lot of us will resonate with.
Oftentimes when we start following our passion and leave the more mainstream "what people consider normal" type of life our friends and family may not understand us. It may be that we start to question our life and seek answers to things we never looked at before. It is at these times we seek to find our tribe and surround ourselves with others that just "get us"!!
Lucy Erridge Crafts, Fashion and Art #DestinationAdare
I was awarded the prestigous honour of being Brand Ambassador for the wonderful craft, fashion and art shop that is Lucy Erridge at the recent #DestinationAdare style tour.
Nestled in a 200-year-old thatched cottage on the main street in Adare you are greeted with a delightful burst of colour from the garden on your arrival.
Attending the #Yarn at #Standun Event
Beauty was definitely on the agenda at Standun of Spiddal, County Galway last Thursday evening.
I went along to the event as a blogger and hitched a ride on the bus specifically commissioned for the evening to take us in style to the village of Spiddal about 20 minutes from Salthill.
Great Talks at Psychology Matters Day 2017 #psychologymattersday
Today, Saturday the 13th of May 2017 I attended Psychology Day at NUI Galway to celebrate #psychologymattersday. There were a number of speakers, speaking on diverse topics from mindfulness to the shadow man!
First up we had a wonderfully insightful talk on mindfulness by Chris Noone. I nodded in agreement several times with what Chris was saying.
Sampling the Culinary Delights at Galway Food Festival
With Galway being officially awarded a European Region of Gastronomy 2018, the first region in Ireland to receive this designation, what better way to sample some of the culinary delights of our region than by attending the Galway Food Festival.
The Galway Food Festival boosts food demonstrations, culinary walking tours, foraging walks, kids pizza materclasses and so much more!! Of course there are also many, many food stalls with a diverse range of products from seaweed to biscuits; chocolate to cheese; kale to honey and cheeses of all shapes and sizes!! Hard for anyone not to find something to tickle the taste buds at this delightful festival.
All Things Beautiful at Galway Fashion Trail
I was honored to be invited by Galway Now to be a guest blogger on the exclusive Galway Fashion Trail. I have written before about my evolution with these events and my growing love for finding beauty along the way.
As a busy Mumpreneur having healthy delicious food served up to me is a treat in itself. So when we arrived at the Radission Blu in Galway and the menu boasted mango, passion fruit and ginger smoothie, greek yogurt,
Living It Up At #LimerickStyle
After a short trot down the motorway from Galway our first stop on Limerick's first style event was the Savoy Hotel for a wholesome brekkie. Christmas cheer was in abundance and we were greeted in style, red carpet and all. Certainly felt like VIP's as we were photographed by the press and Limerick Style photographer on the day, the lovely Evelyn Pepperrell.
We were treated to a full Irish hearty meal with continental influenced croissants for finish.
Beauty and Belonging at Athlone Fashion Trail
Earlier this year I had attended the Galway Fashion Trail which was one of the highlights of my blogging life!! I have to admit though I did have some self esteem and confidence issues to deal with and feelings around "not fitting in". But what a difference a few months make to a girl's self confidence!
A Fine Dining Experience At 56Central
So what’s the secret?
So why is it that we are what we eat? Well because everything is energy and everything energetic vibrates at a frequency, as human beings with an energy body we vibrate at different frequencies too! If we are feeling sick, stressed or under the weather our frequency is low and we might be advised to eat some chicken soup or take a hot drink!
Intimacy is a crucial component of any healthy relationship. Being able to show affection and share intimate moments with your significant other are signs that you and your partner are content with the way things are going and that you’re in a happy relationship. However, come stress, children, and pressures of daily life and many couples find themselves in unhappy relationships and marriages, and that’s when intimacy, as well as the relationship, are put on a back burner.
